Under this scheme, farmers will be given pension by the Government of India to lead a good life in their old age. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana 2021 was launched on 31 May 2019. 3000 pension will be given to farmers on completion of 60 years of age through this scheme. Pradhanmantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana 2023
This scheme for farmers can also be called “Kisan Pension Scheme”. To get the benefit of this Kisan Pension Yojana 2021, the age of the beneficiary should be between 18 to 40 years. Farmers residing in India who have less than 2 hectares of land will benefit from this scheme. In case of death of the beneficiary under this scheme due to any reason, his wife (husband) will get a pension of Rs 1500 per month.
Purpose of PM Kisan Mandhan Yojana
Implemented by Ministry of Launar Employment and Ministry of Agriculture Farmers Welfare under Government of India. Through this scheme, farmers are to be provided security in old age. The main objective of this scheme is to provide security to the small and marginal farmers of the country after 60 years by giving a pension amount of Rs 3000 per month. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana 2021 is the main objective of the scheme to provide social security to farmers, through which the future of farmers can be secured and they can grow.
Eligibility for the scheme
Eligibility for Maandhan Yojana is determined by the Government of India. Those who have the following eligibility will be eligible to get the benefit of this scheme.
Farmers of 18 to 40 years who are citizens of India will get.
The benefit is available if the farmer has less than 2 hectares of land
Who is not eligible for Kisan Mandhan Yojana?
Eligibility for providing benefits under this scheme is determined by the Government of India. Farmers holding below mujan positions or other matters are not eligible for this scheme.
Should not be receiving pension from any social security scheme like Nation Pension Scheme (NPS), Employee State Insurance Corporation Scheme, Employee Kosh Sangathan Yojana or should not be a member of such organizations.
Farmers selected in the ‘Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana’ and ‘Pradhan Mantri Vyapari Maandhan’ schemes by the Ministry of Labor and Employment will not be eligible.
Also, beneficiaries belonging to higher economic status or other categories will not be eligible for benefits under this scheme.

Citizens holding past or present constitutional positions
Former or present Ministers/ Ministers of State/ Former and present Chairman of Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, Legislative Assembly, Legislative Council and Chairman of Municipal Corporation or Zilla Panchayat
All Regular Government Employees of Central Government and State Governments (Multi Tasking Staff/Class-IV not to be counted)
Citizens of India who have paid income tax in the previous financial year

Premium of Radhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana
Premium has to be paid every month to avail the benefit of Farmers Pension Yojana. Under this scheme, 50% of the premium will be paid by the beneficiary and 50% of the premium will be paid by the government. To avail the benefits of Kisan Mandhan Yojana, beneficiaries aged 18 years have to pay Rs 55 per month and farmers aged 40 years have to pay a premium of Rs 200 per month. The benefit of this scheme will be available after 60 years. To avail the benefit of PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana 2021, the beneficiary needs to have a bank account and the bank account should be linked with the Aadhaar card.
PM Kisan Mandhan Yojana Online Registration
Small and marginal farmers of the country have to apply online to avail Pradhan Mantri Pension Yojana. For information on where to apply online for this scheme, follow the steps below.
- First contact your local Common Service Center. You have to find the Common Service Center of your area.
- Where Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE) has to give all the documents.
- VLE will process the beneficiary’s personal details, bank details and other details online through their CSC Login. Then he will register for age wise premium amount.
- Registration for Auto Debit will be done, signed by the beneficiary.
- All the documents of the beneficiary have to be scanned and uploaded through VLE.
