- Inclusion of persons with disabilities by focusing on awareness and special provisions
- Specially identified functions for persons with disabilities in case of large GPs
- Treat persons with disabilities with respect
- Special campaign to ensure 100 days of employment to such families
- Provide a special job card of a different color
Special Considerations and Provisions for Senior Citizens:
Get employment in 15 days : Special senior citizen groups can be formed and special jobs that require less physical effort are identified and allotted to these groups.
Special attention and provisions for Internally Displaced Persons:
The special job card to be provided to these families will remain valid until they are displaced and will lose its validity as soon as they return to their original residence.
Application Process of National Rural Employment
Get employment in 15 days Offline
Step 1: Application for registration can be given to local Gram Panchayat on plain paper. A person may appear in person before the Panchayat Secretary or the Gram Rojara Saachar and make an oral request for registration, in which case the necessary details will be recorded by the Gram Rojara Saachar or the Panchayat Secretary.
The application for registration should contain the names of adult members of the household who are willing to do unskilled manual work. Details such as age, gender, SC/ST status, Rashtriya Swasth Bima Yojana (RSBY) number, Aadhaar number, Below Poverty Line (BPL) status and bank/post office account number (if opened) must be provided. In the application.
Step 2: The following information will be checked by the Gram Panchayat (GP):
Whether the house is actually an entity as stated in the application.
Whether the applicant family are local residents in the concerned Gram Panchayat.
Whether the applicants are adult members of the household.
The verification process should be completed as soon as possible, and in any case not within a fortnight of receipt of the application in the Gram Panchayat.
Step 3: After verification all the details of the family found eligible will be entered into MIS (NREGASoft) by the Panchayat Secretary or Gram Rojara Saachar (GRS) or person duly authorized by the State Govt.
Step 4: If a family is found to be eligible for registration, the GP will, within a fortnight of application, issue a JC to the family. A JC should be assigned to one member of the applicant’s family in the presence of some other residents of the GP. The format of Job Card is given in Annexure-5 of the Scheme Manual.

Registrations will be opened throughout the year at Gram Panchayat (GP) offices.
Application for registration must be made by any adult member on behalf of the household.

- Name, age and caste of all NREGA Job Card applicants in applicant’s family

- Identity Proof (Ration Card, Voter ID Card, Aadhaar, PAN)
