BSF Recruitment 2023 Essential Educational Qualification
Constable (Cobbler), Constable (Tailor), Constable (Washerman), Constable (Barber), and Constable (Sweeper) trades:
- a) high school diploma or equivalent from a reputable board;
- b) They must be skilled in their field;
- c) The recruitment board’s trade test in the relevant field must be passed.
(2) For Constable (Cook), Waiter (Water Carrier), and Cook (Constable):
- a) high school diploma or equivalent from a reputable board;
- b) A National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) level I course in kitchen or food production from the National Skill Development Corporation or one of its approved institutions.

Physical Test (PET) for BSF Constable Tradesman 2023
Candidates will be required to pass a height bar at the start of the hiring process, which will eliminate candidates who are too short.
Candidates who pass the height bar test will take the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which consists of the following questions:

The Board will conduct biometric identification, screening of testimonials and documents, chest measurement (only for men), and weight measurement on candidates who meet the requirements for PET. Candidates who do not meet the required physical requirements will not be considered for the job. However, only during the medical examination will the weight-based elimination be performed.
Women who are pregnant at the time of PET will be disqualified, and they will be rejected. Ex-Servicemen will not be subjected to a PET examination. The board of officials will look over the original documents, and only candidates who meet the requirements will advance to the next stage.
BSF Tradesman Written Test Pattern and Syllabus
The BSF Tradesman Bharti 2023 written exam will be administered offline using OMR and pen and paper. General and ex-servicemen will receive 35% of the required marks, while SC/ST/OBC candidates will receive 33%.
