For Aviation Technology
a bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology from a recognized university or institute in Electronics, Communication, Electronics & Communication (Avionics), Telecommunication, Applied Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics (Microwave), Power Electronics, Applied Electronics & Instrumentation & Control, Computer Science, Computers, Information Technology, Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Automation, Instrumentation, Applied Electronic.
A master’s degree in science in one of the following fields—Electronics & Communication, Applied Electronics, Power Electronics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics & Computing, Informatics, Physics, or Applied Physics—from a reputable institution or university.
For Computer Science and Information Technology
a bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology from a recognized university or institute in any of the following fields: Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Information Science, Big Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Geo-Informatics, Cyber Security, Geomatics, Geospatial Information System (GIS), Information Security, Mechanical, Remote Sensing, Deep Learning, Robotics Engineering, or a combination of two or more of the above fields; Passed Section-A
OR a master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or statistics from a reputable university or institute;

Application Fees
The following is how applicants must pay the application fee for each position: Only through the application software:
- General for SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates and all others, Rs. 500/-. The candidate will be responsible for paying the processing fees associated with the payment of the Application Fee and any applicable service tax, if any. The payment method of Demand Draft, Pay Order, Cheque, or Challan is not acceptable.
NTRO recruitment 2022 Salary
- Aviator-II : Level-10 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 56,100 to 1,77,500)
- Technical Assistant : Level-7 of the Pay Matrix (Rs.44,900 -1,42,400)
NTRO Recruitment 2022 Age Limit
- Aviator-II : not more than 35 years. Relaxable for Government workers as long as 5 years as per directions or orders by the Focal Government)
- Technical Assistant : Not exceeding 30 years. (Relaxable for Government servants up to 5 years in accordance with instructions or orders by the Central Government)
NTRO Recruitment 2022 Age Relaxation
As per the instructions issued by the Central Government in this regard for appointment to the post under the Government of India, candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Person with Disability (PWD), and other special category candidates can have their upper age limit relaxed. The age relaxation by category will be based on current government regulations, which may be amended from time to time. The age unwinding for saved class candidates is acceptable just on account of opening held for such classes. Candidates should carefully assess their eligibility for requesting an increase in the upper age limit. If an applicant claims an incorrect age relaxation while filling out an online application or registration, the age relaxation allowed at that stage will be withheld, and the applicant’s application will be rejected because they do not meet the age requirements for the position or category.
