NEET 2022 (July 17): Question Paper With Solutions Download PDF: Today approximately 15 lakh candidates from across the country including Gujarat will give the NEET exam. After class 12 science, NEET exam is compulsory for admission in medical, dental, AYUSH. The exam will be organized on July 17 i.e. today for 3 hours and 20 minutes i.e. from 2 pm to 5.20 pm.
NEET UG 2022 exam will be held across the country today. After class 12 science, NEET PG 2022 exam is mandatory to get admission to study in fields like medical, dental, ayush, veterinary. Around 18 lakh candidates from across the country will take the NEET UG exam then. Around 70,000 candidates across the state will appear for the NEET PG 2022 exam, including 10,900 in Ahmedabad. The exam will be held from 2 pm to 5.20 pm i.e. for 3 hours and 20 minutes. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center after 1.30 pm. NEET UG 2022 exam will be conducted of 720 marks.
As for the NEET UG 2022 exam, the exam will ask a paper of 200 MCQs, which will include questions related to Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. One MCQ will be of 4 marks, 180 MCQs to be answered. 4 marks for correct answer and 1 mark for wrong answer will be given minus mark. Candidates have to carry two copies of admit card with them.
NEET UG 2022 exam will be conducted in 542 cities of India while in 14 other countries of the world. NEET UG 2022 will be conducted in a total of 13 different languages. Students will appear for NEET UG 2022 in Hindi, Gujarati, English, Assamese, Urdu, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu languages. This time the upper age limit for NEET UG 2022 has been canceled.
NEET Exam pattern 2022
NEET UG, 2022 was conducted on July 17, 2022 at examination centers across the country. As per the information bulletin released by NTA, questions will be asked from four subjects in NEET UG, 2022. All subjects will have two sections. Segment A will have 35 inquiries while Section B will have 15 inquiries. We are telling you the marking scheme of the exam in points.
NEET UG 2022 Exam A Section
- Up-and-comers will be granted 4 imprints for each right response. 1 imprint will be deducted for each off-base response.
- No marks will be awarded for omitted questions. If more than one option appears correct in a question, only 4 marks will be awarded to those candidates who have filled any correct option.
- If any of the options in the question are not found to be correct or a question is omitted, 4 marks will be awarded to all the candidates present, irrespective of whether the candidate has attempted to answer the question or not.
NEET Exam 2022 B Section
- 10 out of 15 questions are required to be answered. If more than 10 questions are answered, the first 10 questions will be evaluated. 4 imprints will be granted for each right response. 1 imprint will be deducted for each off-base response.
- If more than one option appears correct in a question, only 4 marks will be awarded to those candidates who have filled any correct option. If any question or option is not found correct or the question is withdrawn, candidates attempting the question will be awarded 4 marks.
NEET Exam benefits
Same exam all over the country
NEET Gujarati is for Gujarati medium students of Gujarat Board. Similarly, NEET exam papers are conducted in other regional languages as well. This exam is conducted in regional languages but its syllabus is as per NCERT syllabus. It has been decided to differentiate the language by keeping the paper of each language the same only by translating. Last time there were different papers in different languages. That will not happen now. Thus, now there will be a uniform exam across the country. And the student will be able to solve the question paper in his mother tongue.
85% seats in Gujarat for Gujarat students
Based on the result of NEET exam, a national merit for the entire country and a regional merit for each state will be created. There will be a separate merit for Gujarat Board students. 85% of the medical seats in Gujarat state will be filled by these students. Remaining 15% seats will be filled according to national merit. Here we are talking about Gujarati and English medium students of Gujarat board.
Only merit of NEET will be considered
For medical and para medical earlier merit was done on the basis of 12th class result and GUJCET exam result. Now only merit of NEET will be considered. That is, whatever the result is in the board exam, its marks are not counted in the merit. It means that henceforth only the marks of class 12 are required to prove the eligibility. It does not matter in merit calculation. 75% or above marks in class 12 is required for admission in medical.
NEET exam age limit 2022
- Min. Age : 17 years.
- There is no age limit for NEET exam.
- There is no limit to any attempt for that.
NEET UG seat allotment 2022
This year this exam is going to be conducted in pen-paper mode i.e. offline. Admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, BHMS and other medical graduate courses in medical university will be available after NEET 2022 examination to be held on July 17, 2022. In the NEET 2022 medical entrance exam, 90,825 seats will be offered for MBBS, 27,948 for BDS, 52,720 for AYUSH, 603 for BVSC (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) and AH.
NEET Counseling Process
When the candidates who clear the NEET exam get their scorecard, then the counseling process starts. For this they have to register. NTA conducts counseling in three rounds. Seats are allotted in these three rounds of counseling based on the score obtained in the examination. This process continues till all NEET government seats are filled.
